Josh was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and got his start in the restaurant industry while pursuing a degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon. Now with more than a decade of experience in the food service industry, Josh has had an opportunity to work with a broad community of restaurant workers, vendors, and farmers. These relationships have informed his perspective regarding some of the community's healthcare needs and led to his founding Family Meal. Josh completed his Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He works at Modernist Financial in Portland, Oregon.
